.Open Door Christian School is able to offer both band and music classes through a shared program with Maranatha Academy. Fifth - 8th grade students who choose band instruction meet for 25 minutes, four days each week in the ODCS Choir Room with Mr. Steve Gordon, a full time director of bands and senior high vocal music instructor with Maranatha Academy.. |

- 6th grade students meet with Miss Roxanne Adrian, elementary music
instructor, one day each week for thirty minutes
of music instruction that covers performance posture and staging, time
and key signatures, note value, rhythm and scales, chorus and the
recorder. Private voice and piano lessons are offered

All band and music students perform either in the Christmas program or Spring Concert. They may also participate in ACSI competitions during the school year. |
