Believing that Christians should reflect the image of Christ, we ask each of our students to be willing to abide by the following Code of Conduct:

1. Girls will be expected to dress according to the “Standard of Dress” in the Planner.

2. Boys will be expected to dress according to the “Standard of Dress” in the Planner.

3. All students will be expected to refrain from inappropriate speech (swearing, profanity, writing, or gestures) and behavior (fighting, teasing, discourtesy).  Instead, they are encouraged to demonstrate Christ-likeness appropriate to the age of the student.

4. All students will be expected to abstain from the use of illegal drugs, weapons, alcohol, any form of tobacco, and violation of civil laws on or off school grounds.

5.All students are expected to obey the rules of the school and all persons who serve as supervisors including secretarial, cafeteria, maintenance and day care staff.

For Parents:
        We hereby understand that it will be our responsibility to help encourage our children in their effort to abide by the Code of Conduct of Open Door Christian School.  We also recognize that violation of school rules calls for disciplinary action, which may include probation, suspension, expulsion, and/or use of the paddle.
