Why Christian Education?

.

Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it:  Love your neighbor as yourself.  Matt 22:37-39

A child spends 65% of the year in the care of someone other than his or her parents once the child enters school.  Yet, God expects that His commandments be impressed upon their hearts (Deut 6:5-9).  This can only be done with repeated and customary action.

Since children spend the majority of their time in the school environment, it not only becomes the place for greatest practiced learning, but also, a natural setting for socialization—a place where they learn to love their neighbors.
